In the 90’s, Naoki was the owner of a profitable business, drove a BMW, and could sleep in any of the 6 bedrooms in his apartment. After the financial breakdown in 1992, he lost everything. Now, he’s 56 years old, working part time at a post office, living in a house that bears no windows, together with Yoshie, his 29 year old girlfriend, who is forced to work in three different places in order to sustain both. The two of them try to survive a story of love, addiction, and fear.
After two years of searching for a story about the real Japan, the British filmmaker Sean Mc Allister unveils the hidden story of the second world economic power.
