Laura Halilovici is a 19 year old young girl who, ever since she was 9, wanted to become a director, with the role model of Woody Allen himself. What binds the director to the Roma people is, in fact, Laura and her family’s story, a story of which she is very proud and feels very connected to. Dissatisfied with the full of stereotypes in Roma-subject films, the young director shoots her own family and relatives in their actual living environment, block apartments, tents or trailers.

This debut feature film showcases the bright or tragic histories of Roma people that left Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to settle in Italy, in counterpoint to the opinions of the ones that judge them and actually ban them from their vicinity
