Many books were written on anticommunist resistance, maybe not enough, but few people ventured to develop a filmed document. This documentary rearranges fragments from the Secret Services’ private information and recomposes the story of Toma Arnăuţoiu, a man who dreamed of freeing Romania from communism. Ioana Raluca Voicu-Arnăuţoiu, his daughter, tells his story after studying thousands of pages of her parents’ files.

Toma Arnăuţoiu ran away when he was 27, hoping that in a few months his clandestine fight will have stopped and he would be able to get out of his hiding place. After 10 years, he is turned in to the Secret Services by one of his friends.
